Ideal for use by Pediatricians, Head Start offices, Lions Clubs, Kid Sight Programs, and School nurses, these screeners enable early detection of conditions like Amblyopia (lazy eye), which can be crucial for effective treatment. Using infrared light, Plusoptix screeners avoid glare and maintain pupil dilation without the need for drops, making the process comfortable for young children.
With Plusoptix, organizations can efficiently screen 80-100 children per hour, significantly improving workflow and cost-efficiency. The screeners feature HOTV critical line testing, unique to Plusoptix, ensuring compliance with state guidelines and best practices. Plusoptix devices are compatible with EMR systems, support automatic report printing, and are designed for ease of use with one-button operation. The technology meets AAP guidelines and is eligible for CPT Code 99177 and 99173 reimbursement.
